CADS

CADS Events are a unique opportunity for young people of any ability to take part in many different sport, health and leisure activities.

You can watch a short video about CADS here.

The CADS programme is unlike any other event as we pride ourselves on being archerycompletely inclusive.  Young people, regardless of ability, can take part in many different sport, health and leisure events in a supportive and non-judgemental environment.  The professionalism of the coaches and volunteers ensures that all of the participants, regardless of their ability level, are able to participate fully in all the activities.

The CADS Events are organised and developed by the charities Sport Development Department.  The hugely successful award-winning series of activities have set the standard for other events.  All of our CADS activities are very family orientated.  We are the only event in which families of both disabled and able bodied young people can take part in the same activities together in a supportive environment.  The events and activities have been used as a beacon of success for many other disability organisations around the country and is well supported by many national disability sport bodies such as the EFDS (English Federation for Disability Sport), UK Deaf Sport and Sport England to name but a few.

The CADS ethos is that sport can be played by anyone and should be enjoyed by all and we aim to help young people realise their full sporting potential.

CADS is supported by Sport England and the Peter Harrison Foundation.
