Children and young people stay with us by individual arrangements which meet the needs of the learner and their families in agreement with their funding authorities.
All residents sleep in single bedrooms, which they are encouraged to personalise, in one of nine 
residential houses which vary in size. We offer a range of provision from occasional respite in school/college holidays and at weekends, through to weekly and termly boarding and up to and including 52 week care.
Because we have students who stay with us for more than 295 days a year we are registered as a Children’s Home and are entitled to offer residential care to a proportion of over 18 year olds under this registration. However, due to the growth in numbers of students attending the residential college we are also registering as a residential care home for young adults.
All aspects of the residential care are inspected regularly by OfSTED as the new regulatory body (previously by CSCI).
We offer a 24 hour curriculum, ensuring a range of activities are provided for learners in the evenings, weekends and in the school/college holidays to support the development of independence and life skills and to offer choices to meet the interests of individual students.
