There is a well-equipped medical centre with dedicated staff who coordinate all medical needs, they offer first aid and respond to medical needs and emergencies.
Weekly clinics are held by the School Medical Officer, who is a local General Practitioner. There are further regular clinics held by a Consultant Paediatrician, Consultant Paediatric and adult Psychiatrists, the Community Dentist and a podiatrist. They also offer advice and support to parents.
Both nursing staff and senior Residenital Social Workers are trained in the administration of medicines.
The Head of Care and Medical Services is a qualified general nurse. The Mental Health Nurse Practitioner supports staff and students in all areas and works closely with the medical staff, particularly the visiting psychiatrists.
