Many of our corporate supporters choose to do something that has a benefit to the community on the days they set aside for team building days. Helping a decorating or gardening project at RSDCD is a very cost effective team building exercise. The projects are achievable tasks which can unite team members and have a positive effect on the moral, motivation and confidence of teams. Your people will not only have a great time, they'll get something out of it, as will RSDCD.
Projects include:
- Decorating classrooms, residential common areas and classrooms.
- Gardening activities in our sensory gardens such as bulb planting, renovation work, painting woodwork.
- Small building projects for example building a sandpit or play area
- For those unable to join in physical work - making tactile cards (3D cards for blind students)
Many of the corporate schemes last one or two days usually taking place at the weekend or during school holidays.
These corporate volunteering projects make a real difference to the environment our students live in.
