Training Process
Volunteers will be required to attend an induction training course. This will cover the following areas and is usually held in small informal groups;
- Safeguarding children and young people
- Confidentiality
- Working with young people
- Disability awareness & deaf awareness
- Behaviour management
- Boundaries
- Insurance Cover
- Principles of volunteering
- Equal Opportunities
